Saving files in a shared directory on a file server permits easy access for multiple users and easy backup of important recordings.

You can connect it outside your logger to the PBX system to record incoming calls. Or if you'd need to record calls over your own private PBX extension, plug it into your phone's handset. Also you can connect it directly to any PBX analog port to record calls from another extension. Think of this method as "conferencing in" the logger with either an outside caller or an inside extension. Set it up the way that's most convenient for you to use. This method requires an installer familiar with your PBX.
